The Best Florists in Houston Texas

It can be tempting to go online and find the easiest flower delivery service or head to the grocery store for a pre-made bouquet when you are in a bind, but not all flower arrangements are created equal!

There are so many ways to get your flower fix in Houston.

Most local floral services have delivery and pick up options that make it easy to customize and coordinate.

We’ve rounded up some of our favorite local floral businesses just in time for Mother’s Day (or for any occasion!).

Cutleaf Farm + Flower

Cutleaf is a favorite of ours for special occasions or just because! Pre-orders for pick up at the Heights Mercantile Farmers Market (every 2nd and 4th Sunday) are encouraged, but there are plenty of options for custom orders and wholesale.

They’re committed to sustainable and organic practices, and their flowers are beautiful and unique. They are perfect for if you want to wow a loved one while supporting super local!

Freedom Floral

Freedom Floral creates custom arrangements and gift bundles for any occasion! They can also be found at the occasional market around town with stems for sale.

We love that they give back to the community too, offering a discount to local non-profits and using their extra florals to create arrangements for donation.

Picked Flower Co.

We love that Picked Flower Co. has subscription options (treat yo’self to regular bouquet deliveries!) and hosts workshops at their flower bar.

Give them a follow for their latest custom creations and check out their sales and promotions around the holidays to gift someone special!

The Flower Bucket

The Flower Bucket has ways for you to get your flower fix in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Fort Worth!

You can shop by category or occasion on their website, which we think is just awesome! They even have pre-made arrangements that you can choose from for same day delivery (for all our procrastinators out there).

Sommerville Flowers

Sommerville Flowers is a mother-daughter duo specializing in boxed floral gifts and holiday arrangements.

They can be seen all around town at various pop ups and markets (Like Eleanora’s Market and the Houston Heights Market!), and they offer both pick-up and delivery options on their website.

Check them out to spread some local love!

Fleurals

Fleurals specializes in deliveries and subscriptions for yourself or loved ones!

How it works is you pick a color palette, then pick the gift type and the date you want it delivered! You get a discount for subscriptions, and delivery is free within 10 miles of the Spring Branch area (super reasonably priced further out too!).

Each arrangement comes with a card designed by a local artist (and their bio so you can find out more about their work!). The cards change monthly so you can discover someone new each time. We LOVE THIS!

They are focused on sustainability too – they compost and use 100% paper and compostable packaging, and eliminate the use of materials like floral foam (which is petroleum based and does not break down in the environment).

Addy’s Flower Farm

Addy’s Flower Farm is small, sustainable farm not far outside of town!

In addition to online and custom orders, they distribute their blooms to the Houston area through the Urban Harvest Farmers Market, farmer to florist programming, and daily harvested deliveries.

They also have U-Pick Events by reservation, where you can get out into the farm and find your own flowers!

Local Flora Farm

Local Flora is one of our favorites for a true farm-to-table arrangement.

Their sustainable flower farm is located in Fulshear, Texas, and focuses on seasonal varieties so they can grow year-round!

You can find them Henderson and Kane General Store seasonally, and at Urban Harvest Farmers Market, plus they offer bi-weekly bouquet subscriptions for pick up at both Blockhouse Coffee Locations (for our Fort Bend friends)!

Pompom Floral Design

These guys are pretty well established in the Greater Houston area and offer everything from subscriptions to large scale weddings and corporate partnerships.

Their designs truly are a sight to see and are sure to leave a lasting impression. They also have an assortment of watercolor cards and other home decor items on their site for a more long-lasting gift!
