One of our favorite Houston Localite’s Casey Barbles is here to help with our weekend plans again and we are thankful! Since Sunday, December 6, 2020, Rice Village Farmers Market has given us a Sunday morning market to stroll and support our local friends.
If you are new to the Houston Farmers Market community, Casey Barbles is a nutritionist and food blogger at The Informal Grub. She was a key player in lifting the Heights Mercantile Farmers Market to the thriving success it is now.
With Heights Mercantile Farmers Market open every second and fourth Sunday and Rice Village Farmers Markets open every first and third Sunday, our weekends will be indefinitely booked!
The Rice Village Farmers Market is an energetic place to be. It offers over 40 vendors to discover including local farmers, sustainable product producers, flower growers, cheese makers, chocolate artisans, and more. These vendors have been hand-selected to provide our community with locally sourced, organic, and diverse goods.
This market is the first of many enhancements to take place at Rice Village. There is an on-going redevelopment of the neighborhood by local lovers to make it the place to be.
